SOUNDTRACK TO MY LIFE

May 31, 2018
Taking inspiration from my best friends super amazing blog (you NEED to check it out of you haven't already!) I thought I would also share the soundtrack to my life... I have pretty varied music taste, so there are some pretty weird and interesting songs here... I really enjoyed writing this though (I listened again to some of my favourite songs, and reminisced the many times I saw You Me At Six live...)

Music is such a powerful thing, can make us feel things, bring back memories, and change our moods. Most of the time my music choice is determined by whatever mood I'm in as its so varied!
If you feel like listening... I put this all into a playlist in Spotify!

Blue Suede - Hooked on a Feeling
Sixpence None The Richer - Kiss Me
Jason Mraz - I'm Yours

2. What song(s) have made you cry (or have you been listening to whilst crying and pretending you're in a sad music video)?

The National - I Need My Girl
Jimmy Eat World - Hear You Me
Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek (go to 2:50 - you may recognise the song...)

3. What song(s) do you hope your future husband/wife agrees to for your first wedding dance?

The Vaccines - Lonely World

8. What song makes you lose your s*** at a party?

The Notorious B.I.G - Nasty Girl

9. What's the most listened song on your music library?

Spotify doesn't give that info... so I have selected the top song from my 'most played 2017' which is....
The XX - On Hold

10. Favourite song of all time (that you can think of now)

The 1975 - Menswear

11. Bands that shaped your teenage years

Probably Katy Perry/Beyonce...?

13. 3 songs that remind you of a certain moment/memory?

Catatonia - Mulder & Scully (my mum, dad, sister- we all love this song and i've grown up listening to this band)
Jason Durolo - Talk Dirty (My first month of university I must have heard this repeatedly)
NEIKED - Sexual (Me and my housemates in final year always seem to sing this together, which is actually quite odd looking back...)

14. 5 underrated artists you think everyone should listen to?

Banoffee
First Aid Kit
Oh Wonder
The Japanese House
Folded Like Fabric

15. Favourite song out at the moment?
